SPACE - S0 - 20200522 - Radio Burst Source, Hurricane Outlook, Magnetic Nebula
Good Morning, 0bservers!
Slow and steady dropped the solar wind speeds yesterday, now hovering in the 330-350 KPS range. Density and temperature remain steady, but the Phi Angle is definitely jumpy. That has driven the KP-Index up into the KP-2 range after mostly KP-1s were dominating the chart yesterday. Not much in the way of coronal hole development, mostly small gaps than cohesive holes. Bright spots remain bright but not too active. The joint was jumpin', lithospherically-speaking, with a number of moderate quakes, viz: a Mag 5.2 in the Congo, a Mag 5.1 off Papua New Guinea, a Mag 5.2 in Nevada, and a Mag 5.1 off Greece.
