SPACE - S0 - 20200110 - Galactic Radcliffe Wave, Another Mars Change

Good Morning, 0bservers!

A somewhat disorganized coronal hole at the equator just passed the midpoint, so it is unsure how much effect we'll see over the weekend. There is an elevated earthquake risk due to the coronal holes, so we'll keep an eye on the lithosphere. Solar wind speeds rose briefly to 600 KPS, but it's back in the 500 KPS range at last report. The KP Index stayed mostly in the KP-2 to KP-3 range, with a brief KP-1 about 4 hours ago. No sunspots in the danger zone at present, but we'll keep an eye on that equatorial bright spot. It may have had some decay, but it still can have an effect if it pops at the wrong moment.

Enjoy!
