SPACE - S0 - 20200115 - Gamma Ray Bursts, Forecasts, Dust to Dust

Good Morning, 0bservers!

A rise in particle density started up last night, but not enough to really move the needle all that much. Solar winds went up a bit from their sub-300 KPS lows yesterday, currently sitting around 330 KPS. Certainly not what you'd expect from a coronal hole. There were quite a few KP-0s yesterday and today, interspersed by only three KP-1 readings, so we may be seeing a 36-hour alert later today. No more CME activity from the departing bright spot, and two more very small spots have developed (one at the equator near the center, the other north and east of that, about a day or so behind). There was a Mag 5.5 in Indonesia yesterday, followed shortly thereafter by a Mag 5.2 in Mexico, with the rest being blot echos.
