SPACE - S0 - 20200121 - Storm, Space Base, Cosmos, Observers

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar winds slowed down overnight to 280 KPS again, but then started a slow climb back up to 320 KPS. The KP Index was mostly on the floor yesterday with primarily KP-0s running through, dotted with the occasional KP-1. A small (well, relatively speaking) coronal hole appeared just South of the midpoint and crossed through, so we might see some effect from it in about 72 hours, depending on its relative strength. The bright spot that popped yesterday in the Northern hemisphere is approaching the meridian, but it doesn't really have any sunspots beneath it so I'm not sure what, if any, deleterious effect it might pose. There was a Mag 5.3 off Costa Rica, but other than that things were generally quiet in the lithosphere.
