SPACE - S0 - 20200122 - Cold, Electrostatic Dust, Electromagnetic Universe

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar winds have finally ramped up from the coronal hole on the weekend, now in the 360-380 KPS range, with the particle density uptick preceding the wind increase as normal. The KP Index finally crawled off the floor, but still remains in the safe range with KP-2s and a single KP-3 before midnight UTC. A bright spot well north of the equator seems to have had two minor pops, once before it reached the meridian and once right after it passed. Both seem pretty weak, so it's doubtful their emissions even escaped the solar atmosphere. Two minor quakes to report, a Mag 5.3 off Fiji and a Mag 5.0 off New Zealand, with everything else in the blot echo range.

A different kind of video from Ben yesterday...

Enjoy!
