SPACE - S0 - 20200119 - US Solar Risk, 12 Feet of Snow, Sea Level Oops

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar winds remained in the 310-365 KPS range, currently hovering around 335 KPS. As to the KP-Index, it had a brief KP-2 early yesterday but has been in the KP-0/KP-1 range ever since. No new coronal holes are appearing or approaching the midpoint, and the departing Southern holes may effect Earth in the next 48 hours or so. In the lithospheric realm, there was a Mag 6.0 off Indonesia and a Mag 5.0 in Greece, but everything else were blot echoes and frankly not too many of them.

A rather nifty video on planetary geometries/alignments for 2020 and how they'll effect solar weather...

Enjoy!
