SPACE - S0 - 20200123 - Cosmic Ray Maximum Update, Cosmic Bombshell

Good Morning, 0bservers!

The beginning of the video shows some spectacular solar prominences on the departing Southern lim. No risk to Earth, but beautiful to watch. Solar winds stayed up yesterday, briefly flirting with 400 KPS, but they've come back a bit to the 340-360 KPS range. The KP Index calmed a bit during the day, but rose to the KP-2/KP-3 range. The latest reading was KP-1. The lithosphere was a bit more active, though - a Mag 6.2 about 22KM east of Tanaga Volcano in Alaska, a Mag 5.6 156KM off Bristol Island in the South Sandwich Islands, a Mag 5.2 in Iran, a shallow Mag 5.6 in Turkey, and a scattering of blot echo activity.
