SPACE - S0 - 20201201 - The Sun Erupts Again, Killer Electrons, Super Lightning

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar wind speeds peaked around 530 KPS at midday yesterday, but despite a couple of anomalies before 0200 UTC (speed swings from 345-580 KPS in minutes) the overall speed has reduced to the 380-450 KPS range. Temperature and Particle Density showed the same spikes so I'm going to assume the readings are anomalous (Cosmic Ray hits?). The Phi Angle readings are generally stable, so I don't think that's the driving force behind the other chart anomalies. Electron Flux readings have been cresting above the threshold level for several days, but they've sunk below that point in the last 24 hours. However, the Proton Flux started a strong rise yesterday after that Flare/CME combination, but remained in the "safe" zone. The KP-Index has dropped quite a lot from yesterday's report, showing KP-1 and KP-0 readings at present. The X-Ray Flux is back down to the high-Class B flare range for background, and we did have a couple of spikes into Class C this morning (one of them to about mid-level). That one appears to have popped out of the sunspot group in the Northeast quadrant, about 36-48 hours from the midpoint. That boomer from Sunday morning looks like it's just crossing the lim now in the South, and it looks ugly as hell. Can't see the full magnetic complexity yet due to the angle on the Magnetograph, but I can already see what looks like at least Beta class in the structure.
