SPACE - S0 - 20201207 - Space Tornados, Solar Particle Forcing, Galaxy Alignment

Good Morning, 0bservers!

There was a slight increase in solar wind speeds from yesterday's report, moving up from an early morning low of around 300 KPS to the current 400 KPS. We did see a spike around 0600 UTC to 440 KPS, but this seems to be a transient reading caused by a minor blip in the Phi Angle. Temperature and Density also had minor increases. The KP-Index remains in the low-normal (and safe) region, with KP-1s and KP-2s alternating throughout the day. Proton Flux, Electron Flux, and Magnetometer readings are nominal. The X-Ray Flux baseline has dropped just slightly, but we're still seeing spikes up to and a bit above the Class C flare line. The coronal hole yesterday passed the midpoint, but it apparently spawned some trailing holes, which are larger than the original. Should see some increase in solar winds by midweek.
