SPACE - S0 - 20201217 - Can We Forecast the Sheet, Habitable Moon, Cosmos

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar winds remained calm all through yesterday, staying in the 260-280 KPS range. DSCOVR had another dropout for an hour around 2100 UTC, and the chart from yesterday appears to be "rewritten" yet again. Density remained steady, and Temperature readings have risen slightly (but only because they were literally riding the bottom of the chart all of yesterday). The KP-Index has remained low, with KP-1 and KP-0 readings for the last 48 hours, so keep an eye out for potential Cosmic Ray alerts if those levels don't rise soon. No changes in Proton Flux, Electron Flux or Magnetometer readings. The X-Ray Flux is further calming, with the background sinking a bit lower into the Class A flare range (but still in the upper quarter), and a single low Class B flare kicking out around 1300 UTC. The video loops are showing further coronal hole development in the North, with the polar extension moving further South.
